Final Major project

Through my FMP, the brief I set my self

was to explore What is a native culture?

And what it means in Britain today.

The final outcome is this film which

explores the theories of "double

consciousness" of W.E.B Dubois,

through the film I am conveying an

awareness of being British and yet being

of African Caribbean heritage.

Dreamtime

Exploring the native aboriginal belief of

Dreamtime that ancestral spirits are apart

of nature.

Storytelling

Looking at the art of Oral storytelling, in 

different cultures particularly Native 

Indians, how the stories they tell are an 

integral part of their history and identity.

Some photograph, I took one foggy morning on the way to uni. 

These photographs were taken for a project, were I was given the words 'own', 'hate' and 'community support officers'.

A group project, to produce a trailer for the french film 'Jour de fete'.

"Yellow Ribbon"

For this project I was given the colour yellow, through my research I discovered the significance of the yellow ribbon, how in the past women would wear a yellow ribbons as a sign of faithfulness to their loved one away at war and the song "Tie a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree". Publish Post
